About Christian Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is the process by which two people sit together in God’s presence while listening to what God is doing in the directee’s life. A "Spiritual Director" is a simply a companion who walks alongside you on your spiritual journey. Your spiritual director is not a therapist, but a person who, with time and sharing, may be able to offer you holy ‘noticings’ and observations about your spiritual walk. We don’t try to come up with solutions to the struggles along the way, but listen to what God has to say about living life in God's presence in the midst of the struggles. It is about growing in the understanding of your relationship with God so that you can continue to deepen it as you continue your spiritual journey.
In this sacred space, God is the “real Director.” In noticing where God is present and moving in your life, you are invited to respond and allow an experiential and intimate relationship to continue to grow. You will uncover and discover divine movements in your life as you sit and share together.

There is typically a cost to support the time of your spiritual director.
